"Martin Dockery's latest one-man marvel reminded me of why I f**cking love solo theatre... Dockery is both snake charmer and snake. His strangely magnetic presence makes it impossible to look away from the stage for even a second... You'll be a better artist and a better person for seeing [this show]." -Plank Magazine, Vancouver
"A massive, delicious head-twist [that's] structurally dense and conceptually rich... Dockery is too down-to-earth funny to let things get pretentious... He crafts beautiful phrases, and his body is so animated he's like a living cartoon."
-The Georgia Straight, Vancouver
"[4 STARS] Few performers knit together narratives as seamlessly as Dockery... His infectious wonder at the world carries us along with him as he explores the interconnectedness of art."
-Winnipeg Free Press
"[4 STARS] The show runs on boundless enthusiasm, which is so genuine as to be almost evangelical." -CBC

Traveling through a no-man's land that's straight out of a Russian sci-fi movie, Dockery searches for a legendary room with special powers. Geoff Dyer's Zona and Andrei Tarkovsky's Stalker are Dockery's only guide as he journeys to the irradiated ghost-city of Chernobyl in pursuit of art and inspiration. A funny, true story.

A show about a book about a film about a journey to a room.
